POTS and the Future of Alarm Systems

Some national telecoms companies have petitioned the FCC to set a date for the end of POTS service to subscriber premises. The FCC’s National Broadband Plan sets out the scenarios for the end of POTS, and a conversion to IP. Security Central has responded to dealer inquiries regarding the confusing information being presented, with a white paper titled “The Future of Alarm Transmission”.
